Second Amendment

So this is a mighty broad subject and lots of things can be said about this topic, but the main thing I don't quite understand is why the government thinks they can take our guns away.

So many politicians push for stricter gun laws or try to do away with them completely and honestly those people are missing a few brain cells as are most politicians, but that's beside the point. The second amendment clearly states "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."

We have the right to bear arms, it's the second thing in the constitution for a reason. Our founding fathers new that this was important and that someone would someday challenge the authority of citizens possessing arms and a for of self defense.

One of the main reasons people push for stricter laws is because they think it will stop all the bad guys and law breakers from having shooting, break-ins, murders and what not. What people don't seem to understand is that they're called bad guys and law breakers for a reason. No matter how many gun laws they make and how hard they make it to get them, the bad guys will always have them, they're breaking the law already so what the hell do they care if they break another one. Even if the for some reason can't get them in country, they already smuggle all kinds of stuff over the borders into the country anyways so what's to stop them from smuggling guns in too. And the truth is they probably already do so.

There will always be a corrupt politician, law man, or government official that will turn a blind eye for a heavy wad of cash. The idea is truly awful and in a perfect world it shouldn't be that way, but the truth hurts, and its the way of society, the way of life.

We don't live in a perfect world let alone country but it's the closest thing we got. There are so many other countries that have super strict gun laws or no gun allowed at all and that hasn't solved anything cause they are no better off then they were before, in fact most are much worse.

So instead of leaving ourselves, our families, and our friends defenseless. Defend yourself, fight for your rights, and your freedom, because that's exactly what they're trying to take away. Take your rights and freedom into your own hands because no one is going to do it for you, especially if you don't make an effort to do so first.

The government could careless if your left defenseless, that just make that much easier for them to control you.

If it makes you sad, mad, depressed or whatever seeing our country go to hell then do something about it, make an effort, make a difference. Don't be the person to say I wish I would have fought harder for my rights. Once you loose them it's not very likely that you will get them back.

On a side note, what's with all the idiots, putting signs in their yards saying 'Proud to be a gun free Home?' Like what the heck, your are asking to be robed, Cause it makes total sense to advertise that you are completely defenseless.

Comment below your opinions on the matter. I'd like to see what other people think.

IOS 10 RANT

So as you might know a couple months ago apple released update IOS 10 which included a full makeover on their emoticons. In that makeover process the pistol - hand gun emoji got changed to a water pistol.

You may thinks it's silly or dumb to feel so strongly about something 'so small' but it's really not, this is apple [ a big powerful company allowing themselves to be bullied and pushed around by the low lives]  giving into to the peer pressure put on them by anti-gun organizations.

I'm not sorry for my opinion and feel strongly about this and cannot just sit quietly and ignore this. They changed the pistol emoji from a hand gun to a squirt gun and I mean honestly it's absolutely ridiculous that Apple did so. And the only reason that Apple did so was because of the Anti-gun associations hounding on Apple about it. Which is completely uncalled for. It's and emoji and if I want to put a Handgun emoji I will do so. Whether you see it as a squirt gun or not because I will so forth see it as a handgun and will not be updating to IOS 10.

What gets me is everyone tries to please the anti's but everyone still have all of their armed body guards and what not. How would Apple feel about having there headquarters or whatever to be guarded with guys armed with squirt guns!

Pink camo

Some love it, some hate it.
I Would like to talk about this for a few minutes so hold tight.

Pink camouflage the 'feminine' version of camouflage that's been flooding the market for the last six or so years. but lets face it though there a bunch of variations of pink camo.
For instance:

"Muddygirl camo"

a newer I catching version of the pink camo that's been around 2-3 years now
has a purplelyness to it. [yes, I just made that word up]

Anyways lots of people feel strongly about whether pink camo is okay or not. There are quite a few remarks towards the people who wear or like it such as: 'what are you hunting? flamingos?'
and the answer is 'no'
Lets get two things clear:
1) Deer and most other animals are color blind so it doesn't matter so much that it's pink.
2) Most people don't actually wear pink camo while hunting. i'm not saying that there isn't someone out there who does, but most of the female hunters do not wear it in the woods.

the latest 'pink' camo that's only been around for about a year is:
"Hot Leaf Camo"

I feel that this new pattern has a nice compromise to whole issue and its very attractive to the eye.

In all honest truth I love of pink camouflage and as well as the plain old black, green , and brown camo. The whole ordeal is quite childish, cause really people everyone has the right to there own opinion.

I am a Girl

I am a girl.  For some reason or another a some of people think that because I am a girl then that means I cannot or should not be hunting. Some also don't believe that someone as young as me could possibly grasp a coherent understanding of the whole thing.

Girls are completely capable of doing what ever a guy can do, if not better, we can do whatever we put our minds to, so do not simply judge a girl because she hasn't done or experienced something one of you guys might see as a girl being incapable of, because she might very well whoop your sorry butt and put you to shame.

Times have changed my friends and a lot Female hunters are much more my widely excepted. As we humans are creatures of habit, and as to be expected, some still don't quite understand our want to go hunting or our desire to be in the woods. But that's okay, no one will ever get along with everyone.

I've wanted to do something like this for some time now, but I'm just now ready to do so. I'm not always the most understanding person when it comes to seeing things anyway but mine. Recently though, and I'm not sure what changed, I've come to some what be able to understand their un-desire of the changing waters. It's an uncharted territory out side of their normal comfort zone.  I, myself, don't handle change as well as others do, but we can all grow as people, we just have to be willing and try.

I am independent, strong willed, and as stubborn as a mule. I intend to speak my opinions here, and since it's my opinion and my blog, if you don't like it you can go somewhere else and express your opinion. I will not put up with any bull crap I guarantee you that, so you can take you polar opposite opinions and bad attitudes somewhere else if you don't like what I have to say.

And don't you dare tell me because I'm a girl or because of my age that I don't know what I'm talking about, because you'll have another thing coming to you.

You wont change my mind so don't waste your breath.

Getting to know me.

As you may already know my name is Stephanie and this is my blog 'She Hunts', I am 17 years old and I live in Maryland. I've been hunting for 8 years now and hunting is a way of life for my family. My Dad was raised into hunting. My Mom had relatives who hunted and wasn't against it or anything, but just never had a reason to go, when she met my dad she decided to try it. and now both my sister and I hunt as well, though I am a tad more obsessed and driven by it then she is. She prefers fishing more and that's fine.
Ever since I was little I'd go out with Mom or Dad and sit in a tree stand or blind (usually a blind because I didn't know how to sit still at that age.) and I'd get up with them before the sun ever rose, ready and willing, and I went with them many a times. watching my parents success just made me want to hunt more.
Most people my age aren't morning people, at all. My sister for example, she prefers evening hunts, where as I prefer morning hunts.

The first time I went out Deer hunting, I was 9. Dad took me out on youth day, it was a cool and rainy morning. We had a doe feeding behind our tree stand on the wood line over looking the field. A spike buck come up over the top of the field and fed his way to us. Dad asked if I wanted to shoot the doe, but by that time she was gone and the spike kept getting closer. When he got to the thirty yard mark I shot using a 30-06 rifle, the bullet broke his spine and he fell right where he had been standing broad side. Several weeks before my dad had gone to on a hunting trip and dropped the gun, but he hadn't realize the sights needed to be readjusted.
But ever since that day I've been hooked and in the woods every chance I get. In fact opening day of deer season was this past Friday but the extreme heat kept me out of the woods. I may be obsessed but I'm not crazy.
